Gold Test Skaters
Gold medals are awarded to skaters who achieve their gold test in the following disciplines: Freeskate, Dance, Skills & Interpretive. At the end of the season these skaters are recognized at the Gala, they receive a plaque of their gold test certificate along with their gold pin, and a team picture in the Annual Ice Show Program. Since 2006 a bursary was given to our gold test skaters in memory of Toby Renelt, a dedicated and talented coach of East York for many years.
