Registration Information:
REGISTRATION CLOSED
Registration Fees:
$45 for a COSTUME KIT/skater
$100 for a READY MADE COSTUME/skater
Costume Kit – you will be given the pieces to the costume with instructions. It will be the parents’ responsibility to have the costume made by picture day.
Ready Made Costume – the costume will be completed for the skater by picture day by the costume coordinator's committee.
What are the Requirements for Registration?:
Please note that payment must accompany the parent/skater application at the time of registration.
1. PARENT TO SIGN UP FOR AN ICE SHOW JOB: We ask all parents to sign up for an ice show job (see top of application form). See below for more details regarding how to sign up for a job and descriptions.
2. REGISTER BY SESSION AND NUMBERS. Skaters are eligible for the following in the show:
*CanSkate1, CanSkate2, A skaters: 1 number ONLY &
*B to E skaters: 2 numbers.
Please note any skaters that qualify for gold court may enter a third number.
3. PAY FEES: Cheque, Cash, Debit, Visa or Mastercard.
4. SKATER MUST BE MEASURED at the club.
You will not be permitted to register or pick up costume unless the above requirements have been met.
What are My Responsibilities after I Register?:
1. You must check what number(s) your skater is in. The casting list will be posted in January in the arena lobby and at dressing room level.
2.
You must pick up your costume kit on the appropriate pick up day (if you did not pay for a ready made costume) – schedule will be posted in February. Please note if you paid for a ready made costume it will be ready on Picture Day.
3.
You must pick up a rehearsal schedule, which will be available in early March. Finally, you must attend rehearsals.
SKATER ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS & CODE OF CONDUCT:
Skaters may not miss more than 1 on-ice practice and must attend all Run-Throughs and Dress Rehearsal. Skaters are expected to behave appropriately at all times and treat coaches and volunteers with respect and dignity. Designated costumes and accessories are not to be altered in any way. Failure to comply may forfeit the skater’s position in the show.

EACH FAMILY MUST SIGN UP FOR AN ICE SHOW JOB
There are 2 ways to sign up for an ice show job:
1. Fill out ice show job section at the top of application.
2. Leave your name and phone number in the club office.
The Ice Show would not succeed without our parent volunteers. The more people involved the easier and more efficient things will be. HAVE FUN & PARTICIPATE! Thank you in advance for your involvement!
Ice Show Jobs Parents Can Sign Up for:
It’s time to get involved, make new friends, and gain a little experience. THE ICE SHOW NEEDS YOU! More parents mean a more efficient production and parents’ time will be spent more productively. Parents are needed for the following areas:
1)REGISTRATION:
Takes place in November in the arena lobby
Take Measurements and payments
2) DRESSING ROOM ATTENDANTS:
Supervise & assist skaters in the dressing rooms
Work Dress Rehearsal and at 1 Show
Escort skaters to stage entrance when called
3) SET-UP & TAKE-DOWN CREW:
The set-up/take-down crew will work the following days:
Set-Up will occur on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28 (before the start of dress rehearsal)
Take-Down will be after the Saturday night show.
4) OTHER VOLUNTEER JOBS:
The other areas to volunteer are Ice Captain/Runner, Program Sales, Ushers and Security. These jobs only require the volunteer to work 1 or 2 shows.
