2012 Off-Ice Program:
Did you know that it is recommended by many top coaches to split your training time 50/50 (on ice/ off ice) at the beginning stages of figure skating?
It takes a much longer time to acquire freeskate moves vs. dance and skills. When ice time is limited what can you do to JUMP forward and take your free skating to new HEIGHTS?
Focusing on proper warm up and jumping technique Increase height and proper rotation technique helps to achieve on ice moves sooner.
It is important for all developing skaters, especially when ice time is limited. It is a great compliment to your on ice program and freeskate lessons.
