SPRING REGISTRATION

We are thrilled to announce our 5-Week Spring Session from April 29th-May 30th!
 
Public Registration Date: Wednesday, March 6th @ 9am

As a reminder, every spring, we no longer have ice on Sundays or at Don Montgomery.  All of our programs are Monday-Friday at East York Memorial Arena. 
 

Updates: 

  • Pre-Bronze Groups will include Off-Ice following the session.
  • Bronze/Silver/Gold Skaters can register for the off-ice sessions they would like to attend (no additional fees)

PURDY'S REMINDER - HALFWAY!

We've almost hit the HALFWAY mark in our Fundraiser!  Huge thanks for your incredible support and for spreading the word.  If you haven't snagged your Chocolate treats yet, no worries – there's still time!  The order deadline is Wednesday, March 6th.

  • Select “Join Campaign”
  • Sign in to your account
  • Join Campaign - Enter Customer Number “53518”

Once logged in, click on the tab "Shop Online" and "Use Marketplace"

We’ll pop back in again just before the deadline to make sure everyone has submitted their Purdys treat orders.

STAR 6-DIAMOND TEST DAY POLICY

The East York Skating Club's website is under maintenance.  You will soon be able to explore our new "Assessments" section.  In the meantime, we would like to share some of the details regarding our revised Star 6 to Gold [+ Diamond Dances] Assessment Policy which is in effect immediately.  Our next Test Day will be Wednesday, 27 March 2024, starting at 4:10pm.  
 
Please note the new changes regarding the various dates:
1.  Coaches are to submit the names of the skaters + what they will be testing 1 month prior to test day [ie. February 27th for March 27th test day].
2.  The Pull Date is 2 weeks prior to test day [ie. March 13th for March 27th test day].
3.  Assessment Fees Payment deadline is the same as the Pull Date, so 2 weeks prior to test day.
 
As a reminder:
1.  Assessment fees will not be refunded.  Lack of attendance on Test Day or late "pulls" will unfortunately result in the assignment of "Retry" on the Test Day.
2.  If a skater is unable to test due to medical reasons, a note from a registered health care professional [ie. physician, physio, chiro, etc] will be requested by the Test Chair.
 
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above, please contact the Test Chair [Star 6 - Diamond]  through the EYSC.  

CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACKS

It has come to our attention that our merchant service provider, Bambora, experienced a technical issue with the way business names appear on credit card statements.  You may notice a charge on your credit card statement as:

  • “Bambora Internet Wholesale” Bambora Internet Wholesale PSP or FD PSP CAD 7997 Clubs (Recreation, Sports)
  • BAM Club de Tennis Ile
  • BAM Camp Homewood
  • BAM Real Burger
  • BAM Little Paws Animal CL

Kindly be aware that this charge was East York Skating Club 

 

Please double-check this charge against the invoice date and amount of your registration before contacting your credit card company.  If the charge does not match your registration, then we recommend contacting your credit card company to review the charge. 

 

You can locate your invoices by logging into your Uplifter account and clicking “Invoices” on your account dashboard.

PURDY'S CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Check out our Purdy’s chocolate fundraiser! 

This is the easiest way to stock up before Easter or just because you love chocolate! 

By supporting us, you help keep our programs affordable. Chocolates must be ordered by March 6th, 2024.

Chocolate pick-up will be on Sunday, March 24th. 

(An email will be sent later on with further instructions.)

FAMILY DAY WEEKEND - NO SKATING

This is a friendly reminder that there is NO skating on Sunday, February 19th and Monday, February 19th due to Family Day. Classes will resume the following week!
