Winter Games
Wednesday, November 15th 2023 from 6:30-8pm
We will be hosting a Winter Games for the following skaters:
- Bronze
- Pre-Bronze
- Rising Stars
The skaters will be put into groups and they will participate in various events which could include jump competitions, field move competitions (spirals, shoot the ducks, spread eagle, etc) and races. This is a fun event for our skaters and a great opportunity for them to get to know other skaters at the club, while enjoying some exciting friendly competition!
All regular sessions (including off-ice) are cancelled that day (fees for this date were not included in Wednesday Bronze, Pre-Bronze and Rising Stars registrations).
What to Wear:
We highly encourage them to come dressed up in their best Olympic attire.
Registration:
If you are interested in attending the Winter Games, please register on Uplifter. The fee to attend is $20.
Registration will close on October 31.
Bonus:
Finally, we will be hosting our Competition Simulation Day on that same day from 5:10-6:20 pm. This simulation will feature all of East York competitive skaters and synchro skaters as well as our very own coaches Caro Soucisse and Shane Firius performing their Senior level Rhythm Dance. There is no fee to attend so please come out and cheer on your fellow East York Skaters and see what our Starskaters are up to as they reach the higher star levels and competitive figure skating.
