Skaters should wears proper skating attire for testing. Practice or training wear should not be used. Most skaters opt for a skating dress, with their hair neatly tied back or up.
- Skaters should be at the arena and ready to at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled skate time.
- We sometimes run ahead or behind schedule.
- Parents are welcome and are strongly encouraged to attend and support the skaters. Please
view from the stands or from the outside viewing area. - Spectators are requested to enter or exit or move within the viewing area between skaters,
rather than during a skater’s test. - When the skater’s assessment(s) are complete, skaters are to wait to receive their results
from their coach. - Skaters and parents should not communicate with the evaluators. Please discuss any
concerns with your coach. - Please check your skater’s record regularly at Skate Canada Members Only to ensure that
the records are accurate. Results will be entered on-line within 1 week of the Test Day. Please
contact EYSC should you notice the skater’s record has not been updated or if there is an error.
