Diamond Sessions

Diamond Sessions are the highest level of our youth STARSkate program, intended for skaters who have demonstrated the technical skills and independence required for advanced training. Skaters continue working with their private coach while preparing for higher-level assessments, competitions, and long-term athlete development.

For the 2026–2027 season, Diamond and Gold skaters will train together during all sessions.

Requirements: 

• Successfully completed STAR 4 in its entirety and two of the following:
  • STAR 6 FreeSkate Elements
  • STAR 6 FreeSkate Program
  • STAR 7 Skills
  • STAR 8 Dances (all dances)
• Private coach required
• Ages 21 and under

Program Features:

• Private coaching
• Independent practice between lessons
• Off-ice training opportunities
• Recommended 3–4 sessions per week

Attire:

• Leggings/skating skirt/dress
• Fitted, breathable clothing
• Long hair tied back (off face)
• Water Bottle
• Skate Guards
• No Hoodies
• Sharpened skates!

All Star 6-Diamond Assessments/tests are done on a Schedule Test Day with a Judge.  Test Day Info
