Off-Ice

We are excited to welcome Ava Smale as our new Off-Ice Coordinator and Coach for the 2026/27 season! Coach Karen Slade will also be joining our off-ice team and coaching a variety of sessions throughout the season.

Our off-ice classes are designed to complement skaters’ on-ice training and support the specific physical and technical needs of figure skaters. Depending on the session, classes may focus on areas such as strength and conditioning, jump training, flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall athletic development.

Off-ice training helps skaters build strength, endurance, flexibility, body awareness, and control that can be transferred directly to their training on the ice.

Off-Ice is offered to our Rising Stars, Recreational Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond skaters throughout the week. Please review the individual registration pages for program-specific eligibility requirements, schedules, and registration information.

Session locations will be listed on the registration page but will either be in the East York Memorial Arena Lobby or at Stan Wadlow Clubhouse, located behind the arena.
